"I learned a lot. I feel like a different person. Not as defensive. I was focused on everyone else. Now I focus on myself with life skills to keep changing.
I'm grateful that I got the chance to go through this class. It's changed my life in lots of positive ways. The way you relate it & explain it made so much sense. It has made a big difference in my life & others are noticing the changes.
I'm a happier person to be around. I'm a lot more open. Now I have a healthy, supportive team: my church, AA & my family's back." PS
"I learned to do things I didn't know about before. It helped me make hard decisions about my child."
"I was wrong thinking I could do it on my own. I needed to know there were things, groups & people who could help.
My mom & dad need to be here to learn what I have: the difference between time-in & time-out and discipline & punishment. This class should be offered for grandparents, other care-givers and social workers.
Things are better between myself & my sister & brother. They see the changes in me." JL
"This client stated that this class opened her eyes to other options." WA State DCFS Social Worker KB

"I now know it's not the environment that allows me to improve, it's what I do to improve.
I was like a vampire with no reflection in the mirror. Now I see myself. It's not the environment that allows that; it's us.
I'm worth something. I never heard that before in my whole life, let alone felt it.
This class is life altering, life changing. This class lets you have control of yourself. Seeing myself now from the start of class - I'm free.
